- I have a very strong love of music, especially seeing an artist play live and being in the moment with them as they perform to a crowd. Recently i went to see Chet Faker live at the Palais theatre in St Kilda and i thought this would be a great opportunity to capture my love for music. I chose this particular song because of the simplicity and raw nature that was created in this moment- with nothing but a soft yellow light flooding the stage and the artist centred playing the piano the audience was encased in a very mellow environment.
- The second video i chose to use as apart of my self portrait included footage of myself traveling to work. with an immense love for the sea, i am blessed to live 5 minutes from the beach where i am surrounded by the sun, salt and sand majority of my life. Working as a waitress at a yacht club restaurant i am privileged enough to witness the fall of the sun in the evening as it kisses the oceans horizon, this video encompasses my journey to work and the ocean that has become such a huge part of my life.
