To start the semester, we were required to make weekly vlogs for 6 continuous weeks. This was not new to me since I do already make my own vlogs but it was not easy for me either. The biggest problem that I faced was probably the fact that I repeat everything I say at least five times – which is quite a challenge to edit. I’m not sure why I keep doing this, I suppose it was because I stuttered or maybe because I felt that the energy wasn’t there the first several times. Well, whatever the reason is, it definitely made my editing process longer than it was supposed to be. Another problem I have noticed was when I had to ask Isabella the questions. Since I was used to just filming by myself or my closest friends, it was undoubtedly an experience making a video with someone I’m still shy around. To be honest, I still don’t quite know precisely what I wish to gain from this class. Perhaps some practical skills and an in-depth look into the field but nonetheless, I am expecting good experiences to come.
