I was not able to attend this weeks workshop, however looking at the media blog, I can see that what I missed was the chance to use the Sony MC50 camera, and set up a fake interview, to edit. Therefore I may need to catch up, but I am sure I can learn quickly enough, it is important to learn how to use a camera well for filming, as in the past I have only used my phone to take footage and it is really not the best quality. Therefore depending on what we do in next weeks workshop, I will have a look online about how to use the camera. It is important to practice with the camera, to test out different types of shots that can be achieved through filming. For example a close up, mid shot, long shot, high, centered and low angle shots, to be used to give the interview for Project Brief 3 variety. Therefore in the weeks to come, I will research and experiment with using the Sony MC50, for my interview.
