Observation #6

Sunsets, something so constant and reassuring. It’s something that’s always there whether you can see it or not. I stand at docklands watching the sun pour and stream though the clouds reflecting off the water which has small ripples in coherence with the wind. A certain tranquility overcomes me. A silence. A moment. So often we take these for granted. There will always be a sunrise and a sunset yet so often we choose not to watch it. I remember hearing once whether it be on a TV series or novel that you always have a choice to put yourself in the way of beauty and this is like that to watch a sunset is allowing yourself to see beauty in the world. People so often think the world is full of destruction that we get caught up in thinking there is nothing good left. But we can’t deny the true fact of what’s right in front of us.
