Creative, open thinking

  • use sounds in more a a specific constructed way to tell a story
  • interesting music in background
  • mood can be developed more
  • briefs like a story (not narrative)
  • better balance of voice and sound effects (not one overpowering the other)
  • adjust level of sound
  • reduce narrative
  • provide less detail, make us wonder and notice the room rather than how the room makes you feel.
  • what physically does your room provide you with
  • what if you tried to make it less of a narrative
  • try using just words

Problems

  • difficult to hear dialogue sometimes and straining to hear meant that i sometimes missed stuff
  • there wasn’t a list it was sentences
  • voice over may nit be an ontography, a lot of human interaction
  • descriptive – harder to relate to different agencies
  • not all sounds are obvious
  • maybe too informative
