Walking down a narrow path, an alleyway if you will. Cobbled stones that I had to manoeuvre my way past. In the background an overbearingly loud and obnoxious drilling was filling the area. Men in fluorescent work wear were trying to build something or take something out of the ground. My limited construction knowledge allows me no intellectual idea of what was actually going on. However I could clearly identify that the use of protective ear wear was most definitely a good idea. A man, young, 25 perhaps walked past one hand resting his phone on his face the other was used to stick his finger in his ear. A slightly humorous affair as I myself couldn’t even hear my own thoughts so I couldn’t help but imagine how difficult it would be to have a real conversation.
