Yet again just like every other morning I stood at the tram stop and we had about 6 minutes until the tram come. The wind was absolutely freezing and I was standing in a small jumper and jacket. This beautiful old lady, white hair a bright green jacket red tights and red socks stood a few metres away as I entrenched my head under my coat. She looks over at me, smiles and says don’t worry the trams only one stop away I laughed then She said at least it’s not raining. Her optimism was inspiring, despite the fact that I was literally frozen, it could’ve been worse. She looked so happy despite the weather being ridiculous, as we got onto the crowded tram she offered to wait for the next one so I could get on. I said no no there is plenty of room and by plenty of room I mean just enough for two bodies so we both squished in. She was full of such generosity and kindness that it really out a smile on my face and made my morning.
