Ryan is in charge or editing together the audio essay, we just recently gave him our three interviews so we didn’t have a full draft for our essay as of yet. We made the decision to cut one of the interviews which showcased an alternative side to trigger warning but this didn’t really fit into our angle so we chose to cut it out. The feedback we received for our audio was firstly that the beginning spiel was was to fast, the monologue wasn’t able to be completely comprehended due to the speed. Louise made a note that when listening to an audio piece we must be able to hold onto the information to it can be processed and understood. Furthermore with our pieces that separate our interviews we were told that it should be quickly introduced just to give it some context, even in a quick in formal manner. In general we were advised to break up the interview with monologues to make it flow more. Louise mentioned that because our essay is opinionated and ideological so we must chop up our monologues and interviews to space it all up. In general we were told we gave great ideas but to continue to think about the textures, to make sure that we layer with sound effects, music etc.
