Our group of four had to conduct an interview fitting the brief which was to use the Sony MC50E including a shotgun mic (attached to the camera)and a lavalier mic (clip on).

Overall I learnt a lot about this new camera and how it all functions, I think not only did we fit the brief but we worked well in creating this interview. We trialled with both the mic’s and decided the lavalier was the most successful. However this had its draw backs as the subjects had to be very close to each other and the camera itself. Background noise is still an issue but it is reduced significantly from other audio exercises I have previously complete. Here is the final product and it was good to learn all about how the camera, sound and all the setup works for when I conduct my own interview for assignment 3.
