Aims for Pitch Presentation

Today’s class had us in the finally prep stage for our Project 3 pitches, due to be presented in tomorrows class. Going over the pitch ideas today my team member and I are feeling confident that the idea for the story we have created is strong and the platforms from which we wish to tell our transmedia story are all ready to come together.

What we aim to achieve:

The aim for tomorrows pitch is the hopes for us to clearly and effectively explain our story to our audience. We hope that by presenting our key plot points ( without entirely revealing the story, leaving some secrets and plot points for the weeks too come) we’ll be able to create that hook to peak audience interest and gain us a successful pitch.  Through our presentation we aim to show of our stories best qualities and shows the true strength of what we have been working to create. Our teaser trailer for “Classified” will open up our presentation, we want this to be our first statement, really grabbing the audiences attention through our reveal of this follow along murder/political mystery story. We will then present our transmedia platforms, discussing how we will share our story over the remaining classes, giving the audience their agency of the story in a week by week process, uncovering our step by step follow along story.

We close out the pitch on our teaser poster, this will hopefully be an incising clip hanger to round off our presentation. We have the teaser presenting a question and the main caption relating to the theme our story, to which we ask the audience  “Will you solve the case?”.
