Today’s group meet up was really successful and hopefully the last before we hand in the project tomorrow night. Bronte couldn’t make it because she’s been editing the audio on her own and finishing it up at home. Meanwhile, Mia and I are sort of collaborating on the video essay. We had some technical difficulties that prohibited us from really getting feedback from Seth about what we’ve done so far. Mia showed me what she’d added onto from the 2 minutes I’d done and it’s going along well. I have her some pointers and my critique from an outsider (things like extending title cards because I couldn’t read them quick enough and so on). Some parts we discussed needed a whole restart just because they weren’t working, but others were perfect. We ended up discussing for about an hour and a half, and I took over a little for some of the skeleton for the end of the video just because she’s been working hard by herself and I wanted to help. Mia wrote a list of things that we’d discussed to change or work on so that she won’t forget after the meeting ends.

Overall it was a really productive meeting and I went away feeling confident about it being ready in time as well as just being a good standalone piece.
