In the class of choosing partner, I can say that i am the most confused people in the class. When we got a directive to choose a place where Melbourne had a meaning for us, I found that I did not have a blurted out. This actually reflects the fact the problem that I have been talking about  before. As the course continues to deepen the depth of my heart the sense of loss is more serious, I feel a bit upset for myself has been unable to focus on things around me in the past.

Of course, finally I made a choice, the Royal Botanical Garden, the first garden I going to after came to Melbourne. And my partner -Michael Lam location is the Southern Cross railway station, he often go to the place.

We have developed our shooting plan:

Every 10 minutes – 3s walking video + 7s-10s view (at least 3 times)

Because in the previous few lessons, my partner had shown some of his photography, you can see a lot of  elements about lines, patterns, structure etc. So I immediately thought of the design of the ceiling in the Southern Cross railway station or a number of rail tracks, these are the lines, which makes me immediately decide I should pay more attention to the line in the SC station. And I chose the venue for my partner is perhaps more difficult than I am, because main thing of this site is the nature, things may be able to shoot there will be some limitations. Royal Botany Garden In my heart, the most important part is the plant. So it is very curious partner can observe what I did not notice content.

I’m constantly reminding myself, trying to observe a place from a different perspective, do not be disturbed by my habits, and ignore the many things that come from the Patrick Pound exhibition, whether it is in the development of the plan or the next shooting. These ideas are from Patrick Pound exhibition.

When I watched this exhibition, I found that noticing actually need to have imagination, when you can diverge thinking or often change the angle of thinking, you can noting a lot of new things.
