Is been two weeks for this term, i had to say the reason i choose this course is because it sounds interesting. I think everyone interested in fashion, we all have desires for it. although a person doesn’t have much sense of fashion like me, but i still want to know what is fashion, try to integrate into the world of fashion, to feel the charm of it.

These two days, i watched trailer of The September Issue, one of the most impressive scene is the scene when Anna talked about the fashion – fashion is not about looking back, is all about looking forward. The reason is there are also have a sentence is really famous – fashion is a circle. Those two sentences seems to be contradictory, but both of them can used in the fashion. It just like, everyone have different opinions, style of fashion, different ways to show fashion, but we still call all of them with the same word – fashion. Different but coexistence. It also like the lesson we all had presentation, someone like illusory, retro, sport, exaggerated, or simple style etc. Or like the style of collision and fusion of different elements, the contrast of modern and traditional, such as me.

Also I like the class that Jennifer came, i feel really excited, i think i much more understand what is fashion film than before. Let me a little itching, really want to see what kind of fashion film will be made by me,although worry about will i messed up the work.

This is my plan:

First of all, i think positioning myself is important. I should try to figure out my own style, find the most suitable way to create a fashion film by trying different ways of shooting and editing. Second, find the direction, which part of fashion i want focus on right now, advertising, musical or costume. Then, make a fashion film with my partner.

I actually have some idea about what i should make. My imagine is find a fashion designer, record his daily life like a personal documentary and classify into different parts, A B sides of life. A – fashion world is beautiful, crazy, lot of fun. B – there are lot of trouble need to be solved, tired, lazy or lost inspiration.  At the end of the video, the designer will be sitting in the chair with white background. I AM ???, THIS IS MY FASHION.

Well, i feel the idea is little bit old stuff, special after i wrote them down. But i don’t want to delete them, because this is the first idea in my mind, i don’t want to forget it. Not sure what i should do right now, but i know i will be figure out the answer in the process of next few classes.
