After finishing the three experiments, I felt liking shouting in relief. Time and energy devoted to these experiments were more than I expected, but I also learned more than I thought. Prior to starting the work, I had mixed thoughts in my mind. You can tell from the contents of my experiments that they are not interrelated and may even be totally different. As I didn’t know what I really wanted to do, I tried to do anything occurred to me. After the three experiments, I found myself gradually aware of what I want to do and learned how to understand my internal thoughts. For future study and life, I will make attempts as I did for this topic if I don’t know what I should do, so as to grasp what I want most. Besides, the third experiment is what impressed me most among the three. I extend sincere gratitude to the group discussion we had in w7, during which feedbacks from the instructor and classmates benefited me a lot. After all, I gained inspiration for the third video from group discussion. Opinions on blind spot given by others helped me express my understanding regarding it in this certain method. I feel really glad to get inspired and visualize my ideal images, and I look forward to upcoming courses as well. At last, what excites me most is that I am used to “noticing” and it is gradually changing me. When looking at the previous works of my own or those done by others, I can discover more than before. This is a wonderful feeling. The closer you look, the more you find, and the more you feel. Hopefully in the next assignment, I can apply notions acquired from this experiment and extend enthusiasm about “noticing” so as to produce more interesting work. I will continue to center on blind spot for the next assignment and make a video about it.
