Considering the fact that I adopted pictures and records respectively to show my ideas, I would like to make a video combining sound of pictures in my third experiment. After struggling for long, I eventually selected blind spot as the theme of my third experiment.

My plan is as follows:

Equipment: Single Lens Reflex camera

Venue: a path randomly chosen

Content: to shoot a video as I walk; place the SLR camera on my eyes and demonstrate views seen by this path from first angle of view.

Shoot multiple short videos; take tiny objects which can’t be easily found (e.g. a flower hidden in the grass) on this path as shooting targets by close-up shooting method.

Take a close shot of two eyes to represent people’s visual angle.

Edit the video and incorporate all elements.

This experiment is my favorite among the three. Viewed alone each video may seem ordinary, which merely includes shooting of sights and people. Nonetheless, when I combine them together, a marvelous phenomenon happens among them. A brand new conception occurs all of a sudden. This experiment shows my understanding concerning blind spot. It is also originated from w7 group discussion, in which the instructor and my classmates helped me realize I had misunderstanding about blind spot in my first experiment. Thus, I constantly pondered over in which way I can express something of blind spot. Finally, I made this video to show what blind spot is from my perspective.
