A few months ago a friend from high school K and i start in planning a party, k is RMIT student too who is learning public relations. In fact, we are organization a planning team call “Dream Catcher” when we in high school , since we started this planning team our school entertainment activities are basically planning by us. With part of the experience we have decided to host a formal party in Melbourne, it is actually considered reunions because many of our high school students came to Melbourne, but we will also invite students from the University.
However, thinking is easy but doing is difficulty, my experience in reality completely useless. Our biggest problem is actually about money. Unlike in high school once, regardless of the venue, equipment, as well as a variety of large and small things cost money which we do not have much. So we started looking for sponsors, this is my first time to find a sponsor, the process and results are not ideal, because of the limited size of our party there is no very attractive to let sponsored give us sponsor. Even arguably defeated, keep looking for sponsors, negotiations did not achieve the anticipated results. We still looking for sponsors. Really fact, in this process, I have had the idea of give up because I think I do not get any benefits why do I need to do this thing. But in the end I would also like to open, since I decided to do that I should do a thorough, so I’m still in the trying with my friends together to perfect the details of the entire formal event.
Why am I entitled experiences from practice, because if not this time have the urge to hold the ball, I probably would not came into contact with sponsors, understand the process of a party, learn how to negotiate, how to think about the pros and cons of everything. Maybe I did not get any substantial interest after we hold this ball, but I gained experience, which actually a lot of help for my future . If the party is successful, I will continue gone out of existence, let our planning team DC not just the memorise of high school, but may be renewed. I think i interesting in planing some event, though the process is very hard and tried, but I knew my smile will be the most brilliant when the event successfully carried out.
BTW, i totally know the important of team work!!!!! Really!!!!!
