“The learning of filmmaking inspired by prompts and guided with constraints” I think I work better with prompts and constraints and maybe this will allow me to think of my future tasks in life. Maybe to guide myself through my own set of rules and methods. Planning and having a checklist really helps me get through the day so I am hoping I can brush up on these skills.
Often I am looking at a films narrative analytically but sometimes I am more interested in other factors that contribute to a filmmakers decisions, outside of artistic intent. In this studio I believe I can learn more about other key decisions made in filmmaking outside of that, and gain a new understanding of the different facets of filmmaking.
By doing this studio I hope to learn more organisational skills from pre production and by learning from others. Pre production at this point really interests me because I care about taking the time to create something that is well thought out. I hope by the end of this I can make something I am satisfied with and that clearly shows that there has been a lot of careful consideration out into the work.
