I’m so excited to dive right into this course! Media has always been a huge passion of mine, whether it be cinema or music – I’ve always had a huge amount of enthusiasm in the field that is media.

Music is a huge obsession of mine, ever since I can remember my family has always come to me with questions on who sings what, from what album does it come and what year was it produced. For some unknown reason I have a great memory for things of that nature. Whether I’m at home, in the car, walking around town or having a meal; music is always being played. This is ultimately where I’d love my career to lead, somewhere in the music industry. Radio is another huge part of my life, having completed work experience at a number of radio stations and media outlets. Although some may say that it is a dying industry, I believe that radio still has a strong following.

On the subject of the first assignment the un-selfie, I’m so excited to start my photo-taking and audio-recording adventures. As soon as the assignment was given out, a number of ideas rushed through my brain for all the different concepts that I could use for either of the selected forms of media.

Having had a gap-year full of full-time work and travelling, I’m thrilled to be able to put my head down and get to learning and working.
