Today my group’s work on project two hit a bit of a road block as we approached Seth with our idea to create 10 parody style sketches of cliche Youtube videos. He liked the idea, and said we are still able to create these videos, however it is more what we will be creating for project three as it is such a broad concept. For project two, we need to be more specific in pulling apart a case study and understanding it’s parts. As a result of this, we will now be focussing on one style of video – a video review – and looking at ways that this one style of video could be parodied, our ten sketches for project 2 demonstrating this stemming from this process. This will then work to inform the other works we will be making for project 3.
