In discussion surrounding our first OVE project, there’s been clarification over what is meant by reflection, and what are the best ways to go about regularly blogging, developing an appropriate, informal voice in relation to referencing, and how disciplining ourselves to use our blogs effectively will help our writing and our overall outcomes when it comes to developing skills for future practice based research, and in the short term for our final (formally written) essays for the portfolio.
There was particular emphasis on how we can use our informal blog posts within our formal essays, and how referencing will change across these platforms in such a way that suits the specific tone without risk of plagiarism. Our posts should be polyvocal, and our reflections should assess not only our own processes and achievements, but that of others as well.
