Week 1 – Practical

Today was my first Media 1 class. It was pretty cool and laid back yet super informative and inspiring. It was a good feeling to get back into learning mode after having been working and travelling for the past 3 years. Keen to study the world around me on a deeper level and developing a more thorough understanding of all the information that humans take in on a daily basis.

The creation of this blog was a great highlight. It’s going to be good to use it to establish my own critical view of the world and to share my insights on the current Media landscape. The more content that I add to this blog, the more i’ll enjoy it and nurture it, i’m sure.

This low-fi self portrait project brief also sounds so sweet. I definitely prefer project work over exams so looking forward to stepping back and taking time to really get creative and think long and hard about who I am and how I can reflect that in a short little piece of media.
