The crew of City Drama has been getting along well until today; we’ve reached a strange point, at least, in my opinion.
As I woke up today at 8.30 today, no one in our group contacted me. I knew then something’s wrong. I couldn’t reach Sylvia and Rachel at first so this resulted in us didn’t meet up until 9.30, more than an hour behind the schedule we made. We always met at my house. Sylvia came in first. And there was almost a dead silence while we waited Rachel to bring the breakfast. She looked so tired and worn out. After the meal, we packed up for today’s filming. It was the first mistake—lateness. Reasons for it I guess it was because we are entering summer time, which means an hour less of sleep; and we were tired due to the busy schedule.
There was a second mistake we didn’t realise until we arrived at our shooting site. I couldn’t believe that we actually forgot about the batteries. I was charging them the other night so they weren’t in the camera bag. Out of all the previous filming days, today was the only time we didn’t go through the item list of what we need to bring. And a lesson was taught right on. Thus, another hour was wasted due to being unorganized.
The next ridiculous mistake was that I forgot the bag with batteries on the tram, which was, luckily for us, retrieved after a crazy running and chasing. This shouldn’t happen again.
Still, we were very efficient to finish filming two scenes during the whole afternoon.
