“SHE” and “HE” in the City || A Made-up Observation Part V

A heart-warming moment I saw in Swanston Library inspired me to write this.

SHE: Maybe I could go for an adventure by sailing from here. Maybe I had done that here, right here, some time years ago. I do not know if I still have a slight quality of recklessness in me to dare to do anything crazy again; but I am still young. Anything can happen. Beautiful as always, the sea. It’s like the tide ebbs and flows and the sun rises and sets; people, they come and go. Inevitable events interweaves together to create stories and history, and eventually, from this derives the definition of time. Time doesn’t flows when nothing happens—maybe it’s like now.

HE: I shall miss this if I leave. Is that Yezi? It really is!

SHE: Freddie? Can this be true?

HE: “Hi. Yezi. It’s been a long time.”

SHE: “Hi. Yes, it has. “

HE: “How are you?”

SHE: “Good. Just living my life. You?”

HE: “Been thinking of going away. What do you think?”
