“Cinema has changes. Cinema is now a 30 second Youtube clip. Clear your mind. Think of different now. Make it bend to you. Never use a walking stick, it looks doper to limp. Catch my drift?” – Harmony Korine.

Most Hilarious quote from someone attempting to be serious. Sadly he’s right tho…

Test Footage for Group K-film

This weekend i’ve started to film some test footage for my group Korsakow film assignment.

The theme I’ve been thinking about for the nonlinear film was the distinction/ relationship between night and day, and how light can influence our emotional response from viewing imagery recorded in light or dark environments.  From this we can explore why darkness reflects a more disturbing, suspenseful and or sinister image as opposed to why objects filmed at dusk or during the day in a more sunny setting, looks serene and or happy.

Due to the miserable weather conditions in Doncaster, I was unable to film all the outside shots I wanted, so I’ve decided to use some clips from the video constraint tasks, for my test comparisons. Anyway this is what I’ve got so far…

“Comedy is filled with surprise, so when I cross a line, I like to find out where the line might be and then cross it deliberately, and then make the audience happy about crossing the line with me”.
