The Imitation game covers the story of Alan Turning, a mathematician that solved the German’s encrypted communication in the second world war. The movie is exciting, bittersweet, and tragic. I praise Benedict Cumberbatch for his role in this movie, even though I have never met the real Alan Turning, Benedict’s representation gave me a glimpse of what he would be like. His lack of communication skills, His atrocious past creates the struggling atmosphere he is always in, trying to live discreetly as a homosexual man. His journey in solving the puzzle is a remarkable one, and having been condemned just because of his orientation is utterly despicable. Alan Turning deserves more respect that what he could have ever imagined for, but he died believing the world rejects him. Please watch the movie!
