PB3 – filthyratbag

The video was really well set out, where the interviewee spoke in a really natural environment. The whole feel of it was comfortable and powering. Through the video, it was really easy and simple to follow. Some constructive criticism- i think there could have  been a bit more footage of the interviewees face, or maybe of her speaking. The shots of her drawing showed a really creative side,  and a different feel to the overall feel. Another thing, the found footage could have been more relevant to the topic. But overall it was really well done.

Head Trauma – Project 3 – Documentary

I thought the music can go two ways depending which hat you go about. It can really matches and flows with the ideas throughout the video, for example it is able to bring a build up and climax towards the story. However, the music can also be a little overpowering of the story, losing the fundamental aspect of the overall film. I really liked how during the turning point- you finally see his face- it gives the audience a certain realisation and emotion of relief and comfort. The dark choice of lighting really sets a particular mood for the audience. One thing Seth told us is that credits must start when a person stops talking. It may seem disrespectful.

Anna’s video was one of my favourite. As the subject was different, and insightful, it really held my attention throughout the duration of the video. The entirety of it all just worked, and gave a certain intimacy throughout. If i could say anything bad, i think it would be that the  real footage got lost within the shots, and seemed a little repetitive. Other than that is was really good.
