In this weeks workshop we worked in groups to produce a short audio clip. We decided to get into the same groups as our assignments so we could get used to each other and learn how everyone works to sort out roles and responsibilities.
We had to create a 1-2 minute audio piece titled, “Are you paying attention?” and so Jaie, Mikayla and I decided to go with the topical theme of a friend playing on their phone whilst the other friend is trying to tell them a story. We had foley sounds we made ourselves and Jaie was the internal monologue of my Facebook feed, it was fun and a good way to get to know how to use Audition as Hannah assisted us when we got back to the classroom.
In my edit I tried to fade our voices together to represent going in and out of attention.
