Project Planning

Today’s class consisted of finishing off presentations and figuring out how to plan for the rest of the semester. I was quite nervous about the whole helping people and getting people to help you stage because it isn’t really a casual thing to go about. Although, I am less intimidated because I’ve already started talking about some possibilities with this project with Ella. We both are really intrigued by each other’s presentations and ideas so I’m looking forward to planning some stuff together and to see what sort of things we can come up with.

But for now, what I’ve started thinking about is how many shoots I want to do and what sort of stuff I’ll need help with. So I want to do about 5 or 6 shoots, preferably each being for a different scene/idea.

I will initially be doing solo shoots with my Canon 6D with actors but just testing different techniques regarding framing and iso etc. Even though a DSLR isn’t ideal for shooting video, it will be a good starting tool to figure out the sort of visuals I am hoping to achieve by the end of this project.
