My ongoing thoughts on Networked Media
So I’m now in the third week of Networked Media and I have to say that so far I’m having fun.
I’m enjoying the accessibility of the blogging, and the fact I can blog whatever else I want to, making it my own. I like the fact I can throw up pictures for my blog, rather than having a purely written journal. I haven’t be using the posts from the subject blog to further my study, but it’s something that I will definitely use when I get stuck, and I love the fact that option is open to me and everyone.
The one thing that I didn’t really like so far was talking about that metaphor in class. Generally, I just don’t like metaphors. Sometimes in films, there is a well placed metaphor that isn’t too obvious, but then all the other ones are so generic or bland and just useless and forced. You can force a metaphor onto anything. The best metaphor is clearly this.
I’m looking forward to what this class has to offer. Sure, I could look it up right now, but why not wait until it happens.
