This week I was trying to sort out the dates of when Mikaela can meet Sara, and when Sara can see Mikaela. There was also a slight problem, where people from the yoga class may not want to have photos taken of them. Therefore, making it harder for Mikaela to create a story and produce a diverse number of photos. Moreover, I asked my mate whose uncle is a tattoo artist and has a shop in Fitzroy, which I thought could be a backup if the photo shoot didn’t go to plan or Sara wasn’t able to have someone take photos of her classes. For myself, Mikaela thinks she may have found someone for me to use as my subject. He is in the Australian Army Reserves, working part time in an infantry battalion. I thought that sounded pretty cool, and it gave me the idea to show the story of him in his natural environment as an army reserve. Showing him in the bush as a normal everyday male studying Law at Monash, versus his other side as a battalion leader.
