Lets Try; Lightroom
Ahh, my heart, it warms at the idea of this. I have a good couple of hundred gigabytes of photos from my old photo trips, and I intend to take plenty more. I started by importing as many as possible, and setting up a pipeline to deal with future photos. In this case, I decided to upload to Facebook, and so I entrusted the app with my username and password. The app has 2 main sorting features that I use; Stars and Flags. I use stars to sort which go online and which don’t, and flags for photos that need major work. 4 Starred photos go straight to here before getting downgraded to 3 star. 3 Stars get uploaded to facebook, but not before processing.
And that’s just the simple settings. Usually I just mess around with the exposure, shadows and blacks, though with colour pictures I’ll pump up that vibrance. Then there’s temperature and Tint, which you throw up or down to fix the white balance. Not fiddly enough for you? Well lightroom takes it a step further
Same controls, but with more control. You can crop and everything else you’d expect from photoshop, and can even link with photoshop for even more awesome.
