Adrian Miles
Dr. Adrian Miles is a Senior Lecturer in New Media and currently the Program Manager of the consilience Honours lab at RMIT, in Melbourne, Australia. He does research on hypertext media and networked interactive video, and undertakes theoretically inflected digital projects. Adrian’s research interests include pedagogies for new media, digital video poetics with a Deleuzean cinematic inflection, and new academic methods inspired by digital practice. Seth Keen
Seth Keen is a documentary designer and lecturer in New Media in the Media Program, School of Media and Communication, RMIT University. He holds a MA (by Research) and is currently in candidature on a practice based PhD (Communication). Seth works with video to explore the nexus between documentary practice and new media technologies. His practice is interdisciplinary across media, art and design. He produces video works for exhibition, broadcast, screening and online publication. Interested in social and environmental change, Seth collaborates with organisations on the design of frameworks to create online interactive documentaries, audio-visual archives and tools. Jasmine Roth
Jasmine is a graduate of the Bachelor of Communication (Media) program at RMIT. After completing Honours, during which she specialised in scriptwriting, Jasmine went on to work in film and television production. Hannah Brasier
Hannah Brasier is a PhD candidate at RMIT University, in the School of Media and Communication. Her practice-based PhD is on how interactivity and diary films can be understood in relation to affect. The potential outcome of this PhD is towards a framework for new ways of making and theorising the diary film, and interactive documentary. Previous to her PhD Hannah completed her Honours looking at the creation of slow and affective interactive online video. Hannah’s Honours culminated in the creation of a Korsakow interactive online video entitled Noticing, where she continues to use Korsakow to make small scale interactive documentary works. Lisa Horler
Lisa is a writer, director and producer who works in documentary and new media. Lisa made her first documentary, Writers…The Real Story in 1995. It screened at the Banff Television Festival in Canada. Since then she has produced and directed many documentaries for Australian broadcast – the poetic Levantes(1998) screened on SBS, From Here to Ithaca (2002), for the Hybrid Life series on SBS and Made in Heaven (2005), produced and directed for the Family Story series on ABC.
