Mum’s homemade passion fruit sponge brings me joy. It’s a cake I’m yet to succeed in baking myself, but that doesn’t stop me from succeeding in the consumption part. It’s perfect circular shape, golden brown colour and smooth spotted icing reminds of an dessert you would find in a Gourmet Traveller magazine which inspired me to shoot this clip from above, as is often seen in those glossy pages.
