So we’re down to our last week of my first semester at uni. And let me tell you, I am so keen for my 7-week semester break. But on a more educational and positive note, my group and I had yet another productive week.

We decided to reshoot the introduction and conclusion for our video essays as the audio for the video was clearly not as good as the audio recordings we made previously. This time, we hired both a camera and a voice recorder, then we would later match them during editing. We also decided to film a couple of on-camera pieces where we, individually, took turns in sitting in front of the camera and saying a couple of lines to insert into the video essay.

I then finished editing the rough cut of our video essay as we decided to take turns in editing. There really wasn’t much left to edit, other than adding a couple more found footages and also syncing the audio with the video that we recorded.
