Work It Out

In this week’s lectorial, we first got a lecture on work attachments. This is something that we need to complete before the end of our last semester of our final year if we want to graduate. Oh, and one more thing, we need to complete 80 hours of it. Personally, I find this a little daunting especially since we have to find it ourselves. However, at the same time, I think that it is good that we find these places that we want to work at by ourselves so we can build our own connections.

After finding out that we can do this anywhere in the world, I got a little bit excited. I mean, the places that I’ve listed so far are local. But it’s pretty exciting how we’re allowed to complete this internationally. It allows us to broaden our perspective on media, especially since there are some differences between eastern and western media. I’m definitely looking forward to these work attachments as it will really help us in gaining more knowledge and experience in media and working with media, not just film and television.
