Productivity Strong

This week was definitely a very productive week for my Media One group in terms of making progress for our fourth project brief. We meet 3 times a week; 2 of them being outside of class time. I think what makes us so productive is that we divide the work evenly and set ourselves goals for our next meeting. Last week, our main goal was to get all our information together and finish our annotated bibliographies.

This week, we had two main goals; write our scripts and record/film our essays. And I’m super happy to say — goals achieved. We divided the scripts into three sections in relation to the topics we want to discuss for both audio and video, and delegated who was going to write the script for each sections. We made a goal to get our audio script done by our Tuesday meeting, and come Tuesday, we did. On the day, we split up who was going to say what and recorded our audio.

We also made another goal to get our video script done by our Friday meeting so we can film our essay. Like we did on Tuesday, we split up who was saying what on the day. We also decided to just film an introduction and a conclusion, and just voiceover the entire informative section. Considering the fact that our project is on Disney as an institution, there are so many clips and footage that we can use, so it would be easier to just voiceover majority of the video. I’m definitely keen on the week ahead as we can really finish this project before its due date.
