In this week’s workshop, we focused mainly on working on our fourth project brief. My group and I came together and discussed our progress from our Tuesday meetings, as well as plans for our Friday meetings. Our group has been very productive this past week (and you read my progress report here), and it was very comforting knowing that in this workshop, we were already planning our script for our video essay.

We also discussed how our A/V script will be set out for our video essay, and began putting together our script for it. Since we now know that we don’t necessarily have to be on screen for the video, we had a change of plans in regards to the visual layout of the video. We originally planned to have a 3 way split screen where we would ‘speak’ to each other, but we knew that this might be a little hard to film, considering height differences and where we need to be looking to get a precise reaction to whoever is speaking on screen.
