The past week has been an upward journey on the learning curve for me and I really think I’m beginning to achieve the things I hoped/declared I would at the beginning of the semester. I’ve handed in my first assignment, the essay, and was mildly satisfied with my own work (this is unusual). I really think that I’m truly understanding Bogost’s theories and it was actually fun to write about my understanding and experience with them in my own way. I experimented a little with my essay making it very informal and more a warm, reflective and instructive learning piece to help others learn than a cold unpacking of the ideas.

It was exciting to hear the work from the German students and I look forward to completing more work for this project.

I’ve been blogging daily and I think that my blogging has improved a little, I’m starting to let go of my own perfectionist view on writing and just write whatever I’m thinking about. As well as this I’ve been changing my posts up in length and content, including photos and links.
