On Saturday I went to Laneway Festival, a one day music festival held at Footscray Community and Arts Centre. I had a great time and saw some killer acts, including Mac DeMarco, FKA Twigs, Caribou and Banks. It was a great day and really nice to relax and enjoy myself during this busy period when my uni work seems to be piling on top of me.
Being the procrastination queen I am, I often leave things to the very last minute. So it goes that I’m more often than not frantically clambering to finish work at the very last minute. This reminds me of one of our very first NetMed classes, where Elliott was talking about planning ahead, and how one of the readings discussed continuous loop learning. I am reminded of the fact that it is so much better to do little bits of learning/coursework regularly, over a long period of time rather than trying to cram everything in to the ver last minute.
Thus begins my sleepless week I think. When will I learn?
