Every Wednesday, I intern at Enamoured Iris, a video production company. Last week I had a play around with some of their equipment, using their video camera, tripod and shoulder rig. There wasn’t much to film outside so I just practiced setting the right white balance and aperture/shutter speed. I had a look at what I filmed today and decided to edit something together from them. I think I managed to piece together some sort of narrative. I also downloaded a bunch of sounds from Audio Jungle, which I’ll be able to use in my personal project for this studio.

I love playing around with sound on Premiere and distorting it. I also really like the look of the 50FPS (frame rate) I filmed most of this video in, and I’d like to use it again for my short film. (This hasn’t been colour-graded yet – I’m going to have a go at that tonight or tomorrow and post another version of it, after it’s been properly graded).
