Brief: To create a personal self portrait using original media texts.

I had difficulty choosing just 6 photos to use for this project, as there were many pictures I wanted to share to show a part of my personality. But after some struggle I narrowed it down to these 6.

This is a picture of my desk at home. It is where I spend a large amount of my time and I have therefore decorated it with some of my favourite things.

This second photo is of my cat, Sasha. I have a huge love of animals and a particular attachment to this cat. She contributes a lot to my overall happiness and enjoyment of life.

Before beginning my university degree, I studied specialist make-up. I still do some work as a makeup artist and this photo is an example of my work.

This is a photo of my two best friends, Jack and Mikey. I currently live with Mikey in Clifton Hill, so he especially is a huge part of my life. This photo was taken on one of our many expeditions to old homesteads, this was taken at Werribee Park.

I appear in this photo with my boyfriend Brendon. We have been together for a long time now and he is a huge part of my life. He supports me in a lot of things and I wouldn’t be where I am without him.

My family – Me, my grandfather and my brother. I am extraordinarily close with both these people, seeing them at least once or twice a week. They are probably the two people in my family that I am most connected to.
