It’s difficult to not want to edit the materials in the brief. Raw footage looks wrong especially when you know it has to go public. I’m not used to any kind of raw footage anymore. I don’t go out in public without fixing myself up first. I feel naked. Instagram has just taught me to be self conscious (not innovative) on social media as well as in real life! Why not filter something when it makes you look better?

“Nah I think I’ll use the original photo. I like the pale, flu like tone of my tired skin in that one”……

This first brief is making me think about subject matter, symbolism and semiotics without the option for editing.
