Many of my friends spend hours on youtube every week, and some everyday watching famous youtubers. I myself can’t get into this. Honestly after a while I get bored. I need to get up, move around and go do something which doesn’t involve staring at a screen. However, I enjoy watching one youtuber Stuart Edge. My favourite video would have to be Instant Dance Date. In this video, Stuart Edge and his crew set up in the street a “press play” button, and when someone pressed it, this crew would coming running to set up the dance floor. The strange who pressed the button would then be invited to dance.

What I love about this video I think is the concept. I think it was a very creative and fun idea. Additionally, I loved the music choice. I think it was very cleaver to edit it in a way that the music synced into the man who started singing as they danced. Also it was simply a very nice choice of song which suited the video perfectly.

The way in which the cameras were used was quiet cleaver as well. They had numerous different angles and at least three different cameras. Some of the shots were birds eye looking directly down on the street, close ups of the couple, and long shots. I also think that during the editing process, they did very well in getting the right balance of clips with people talking, to clips of people dancing without any dialogue. Additionally, I liked the use of slow motion which I think makes things a bit more interesting to watch.

I really love this video simply because it was well done, and I loved the concept.
