The episode 2 season 2 of showtimes Penny Dreadful came out this week. This series is the reason I wanted to go into media and film in the first place. For those of you that have been yet to be enlightened to the wonders of this show, penny dreadful is about… well a lot.

The title Penny Dreadful relates to the penny dreadful novels sold in Victorian times, a penny for a horror novel. Such titles include Dracula, Dr Frankenstein, Dorian grey ect. The t.v. show penny dreadful takes these stories and combines them into one big ball of horror and death with amazing cinematography.

The intro alone makes me drool. If I achieve anything in this life I hope its making something as hauntingly beautiful as this show.
