Out of interest I have been looking into the role and necessary skills of a stunt performer and have come to realise just how connected each part of a cinematic team is. Each person involved in creating a tv show or film has so much interaction with various departments, trying to draw it as a venn diagram would probably result in one blurry circle.
Fo instance, a stunt performer has to know the actor/actress, to study how they move in order to mimic it, the makeup and stylists, to get them looking the same as the actor/actress, the stage workers who may be setting up and operating equipment for their stunts, and the fight co-ordinator who helps direct their scene. The fight co-ordinator has to talk to the writers, the directors, the special effects artists, the actors and actresses. Each role is highly specific and plays its own unique part, yet interaction between roles is key in creating anything.
