I know I waffled on about this last week but this is very deserving of a repeat post. I just finished watching the incredibly emotional season finale of Offspring, and I never thought I would but I do agree with the ridiculously overhyped commercials that “It is some of the best television I’ll ever see”. What just transpired on our screens was in my humble opinion a true masterpiece from the exceptional cinematography to the perfect writing and of course the brilliant acting especially on Asher Keddie and Kat Stewart’s behalf.
All of these elements came to climax in the scene which took place between the two lead roles, filmed in the pool area of Crown Metropol, which truly epitomized brilliantly produced television. If you don’t watch Offspring I highly recommend you go and check out this scene here starting at roughly half way through the episode, as it really sets a benchmark for commercial television, and it is pieces of work like this that truly inspires me to be in this industry.
