Okay so I forgot to mention that in class we were instructed to go and record certain sounds around us with these special microphones from the department downstairs. Now, this thing was super fiddly and we got it working at points, but a lot of the time we recording our own conversations. Lucas and I were partnered together and we couldn’t be bothered recording the whole time so we ended up going and getting some lunch. We were both hungry so it was necessary.
Here’s an awkward glimpse into one of the many conversations we had. Side note – my voice sounds completely different to my ears than it does to my brain. Can’t be arsed to find out the science, but it’s a really annoying observation I can make while listening to this.
