Documentary Without Interview

Take any music festival throughout victoria and it’s very easy to document the feelings, moods and attitude towards the whole event just by observing the goings on.
– music performances
– art performances
– campsite activities
– general atmosphere and bars
it is a common feature of event documentaries to include interviews from people walking around the event and conducting vox-pops, which is a nice element to gain a general idea of the feelings and opinions of the patrons

I would, instead of these vox-pops, travel around to certain campsites within the festival and through an observational mode of documentary, record what happens at the campsites; the jokes, the banter, the talk about the festival itself. It is always very interesting to see how different groups of people conduct themselves at festivals and how they enjoy themselves.
