The End; Film TV-1

QUESTION 1

THE HOLE

I loved the hole. It took you on the journey of the main character and strung you along until the end. It perfectly mastered the awkwardness of the victims and the ruthlessness of the hole digger. It gave that essence of the silent film era through the comedy and style fo filming. The switch from black and white did confuse me as i didn’t see the need to change. Overall the quality of filming and storyline was great and i really enjoyed watching it.

Pranking Frank

Pranking Frank was one of my favourites from the screening. It was great comedy and a great story line. I think was exceptionally cast and shot. It is hard to do a good comedy but i think the twists and turns that this film managed to make sense in the short time frame made this film an out-stander amongst the other comedies we saw.

A LOVE LOST

A LOVE LOST was a great emotional film, i felt myself pulled into the sadness almost immediately. The style of shooting, the music and the casting made me believe what i was seeing and made me empathetic with the characters. It was a relatable film as the loss of a spouse is something everyone inevitably expects to have to go through and it’s something that we all are sad to hear about when it happens and this film captured the reality of that situation.
