Nodeidea?

The unlecture talked about a variety of things, but one in particular was the idea of ‘nodes’.

We learnt that the internet is made up of nodes, which can be considered ‘small things’ that connect to similar thing. Preferential attachment  means that some nodes are more likely to be conncected to other nodes.

Nodes are the ‘middle man’, the connection point.

Other notes regarding nodes from the unlecture:

• Even though we have these hubs that accumulate more links over time, the newer nodes can still flourish within these networks
• Nodes can become hubs
